September

I should be a little nicer to September. For me, it’s the beginning of the end of sunshine and warm days — and it signifies the coming of the Long Dark. Being so far north, winter days are just over six hours long, and the mix of cold and darkness can be wearing. But it’s neither cold nor dark now because September is lovely. Must live in the moment!
