Our mini-break was short, but wonderful. We saw lots of wildlife – oyster catchers, hares, a grouse, a sparrow hawk, and seals. We had a lovely meal at the Kingarth, and a great stay at the Cannon House Hotel. And we finally made it to the top of Bute to see the Colintraive – Rhubodach ferry route which is the shortest in Scotland at just over four minutes.
We also found our holiday home. I won’t say more, in case I jinx it!
