Last January, and almost overnight, my skin became dry, irritated, and very sore.  My eyelids  were particularly bad, which led to case after case of conjunctivitis.  It was as if my skin’s moisture barrier had completely broken down, and no matter what skincare I used, my skin couldn’t seem to retain moisture.  I had to stop wearing makeup completely, and could only use the mildest creams.

It’s no exaggeration to say that Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Hydrating Cream saved my skin.  The first few applications seemed to make my skin instantly happy, so I continued slathering it on my face several times a day.  It took about a week, but the rawness began to disappear and my skin felt restored.  After two weeks, it was almost back to normal.

While I can’t claim that this product medically cured my skin, it certainly kept it comfortable and hydrated during the healing process.  Hada Labo products don’t contain fragrance, petrochemicals, or alcohol, so they’re unlikely to cause irritation.  The Super Hyaluronic Hydrating Cream also doesn’t contain any heavy oils, so it’s great for use around the eyes.  It’s a gentle cream that rehydrates skin fast.

Effectiveness: 5 – works fast to hydrate and restore skin.

User Experience: 4 – as with most products for sensitive skin, it lacks that luxurious feel.

Comfort: 5 – I’d give it a 6, actually.  It’s like an instant comfy blanket for upset skin.

Repurchase: Yes.  I’d keep this to hand in case my skin ever freaks out again.
