I have a weird relationship with eye creams.  I’m not convinced I actually need one, but then the skin right below my left eyebrow gets scaly and raw for no apparent reason and I start slathering on the nearest eye cream I can find.  While I’m always happy to see claims of anti-ageing properties in an eye cream, it isn’t necessary for me.  Eye creams are all about comfort, especially when I’m suffering a particularly bad flare-up.

Tata Harper Restorative Eye Cream is instantly soothing.  I like it because it also works as a barrier, holding moisture in where I need it, but always with a light touch.  Heavy creams can make my eyes go a bit puffy, but I find the Restorative Eye Cream feather light.  It’s also packed with natural, skin- friendly ingredients like hyaluronic acid, borage oil, and arnica.  While it is fragranced, it’s not a heavy scent, and a quick look at the ingredient list doesn’t show any potential fragrance allergens.  Very sensible for an eye product.

Effectiveness: 5 – it moisturises a delicate area of the face and does it well.

User experience: 5 – it’s light, sinks in quickly, and never stings.

Comfort: 5 – immediately soothes the skin around the eyes and helps hold moisture without feeling heavy.

Repurchase: Yes.  I’d buy this one again.
