Vapour Beauty products tick a multitude of boxes for me. They’re organic and ethical, which means I can use them without guilt. They can be used to achieve a natural look, which is pretty much my signature these days. Because they’re mostly cream/stick formulations, they work well on mature skin, so I don’t have to worry about the products settling into lines and wrinkles, or making my crepey eyelids look worse.  They contain a wealth of skincare ingredients, such as antioxidants, which give my skin an added boost of health with every use. And many of the products are multi-use, so my makeup bag is satisfyingly lightweight. Here are three of my favourites.

Multi-use Classic Blush. This ultra-smooth and sparkle-free formula can be used on lips, cheeks, and eyelids, or to give a sun-kissed look to other parts of the face. It’s dead easy to apply and it blends well without dragging on the skin. I went for the shade Spark – a fresh, light peachy-pink, but there are loads of other shades if you fancy something else.

Mesmerise Eye Colour. These easy-to-use, creamy sticks can be applied with fingers or a brush, and give a gorgeous wash of colour to lids. As my eyes are extremely sensitive to makeup, I was happy to find that these don’t give me even the slightest hint of irritation. I chose the colour Flash – a taupe/brown nude shade that gives lovely definition without any shimmer to accentuate any crepeyness . This shade also works well as an eyeliner on the lower lash line.

Solar Translucent Bronzer. This gorgeous matte bronzer looks incredibly fresh and natural without a hint of orange. The cream formula avoids the chalky, dry, powdery look that can make skin look dull and tired. The versatile formula can be used as a bronzer, nude, blush, or even eyeshadow. I chose two colours. Mirage is a pale golden shade, perfect for a pale skin in need of a natural, healthy glow. Simmer is a medium-tone bronze, perfect for both bronzing and natural contouring.

As I’ve mentioned, I do have quite sensitive skin, and I’ve had no irritation from the Vapour Beauty products I’ve tried. They do list essential oils in their ingredients, but I can only detect the faintest scent and it fades almost immediately upon application.
